Rib PR-02 - Double-sided belly curve (11.5cm)

Profile ribs act as a guide for shaping pottery when throwing, helping to achieve consistent curves. 

Belly curve PR-02 is a double-sided rib. One side has a curved base and bellied side while the other side has a rounded foot and a bellied side. Standard size is 11.5cm tall so it can be used for short to tall cups, mugs and bowls.

We recommend starting each form as a smooth straight sided cylinder with walls thicker than you want the finished piece to be, and then rest the base of the rib on the wheel head and stretch the walls into the curves of the rib. 

Our products are made using PLA bioplastic derived from renewable resources like cornstarch or sugarcane. They must be handwashed only, in cold or warm water.
